All You need to know about Marathon Cairo 2023

Marathon Cairo is one of the few full marathon events that takes place in Cairo, Egypt every year..

Started back in 2015 by Captain Saif El Bakry by a request from his friends. A Group of Runners who are taking the Triple 8 Quest.

“The first event attracted much more runners that we didn’t imagine.” Said Captain Saif in an interview with YALLARUN

Since 2015 Egypt is the spot for the Triple 8 quest runners to touch down and run a full marathon in Africa.

For 8 years Marathon Cairo has been organized by MC Sports company except for the year 2022 where the event didn’t happen because of security reasons.

Get physically and mentally prepared for the Marathon CAiro 2023.

Taking part in a long-distance race requires dedicated and consistent training. Make sure to set a realistic goal and take slow, steady steps towards it: aim for shorter distances first before taking on the longer runs needed for a marathon.
