Distances : 100KM, 50KM and 20KM

Those looking to take on the full challenge of the AlUla Trail Race 2023 can choose from either a 100km, 50km or 20km course. Each contains intricate terrain that offers extraordinary views of the ancient Hejaz Mountains and its stunning landscapes. Participants will traverse up and down mountainsides, running through sand dunes and rocky desert areas, with plenty of opportunities for exploration.

Difficulty: Strenuous to Expert

The courses consist of a mix of running and walking, often on difficult terrain. Depending on your chosen route, you are expected to be able to navigate trails, ford rivers and traverse obstacles at an expert level. The 100km course is one of the most technically challenging races in the world due to its length and rugged nature. All three routes require proper preparation from participants to make sure they have a safe, enjoyable experience during their journey.

The AlUla Trail Race 2023 will kick off at 6 AM on February 23rd,2023. Make sure to come to the AlUla region a few days before the start of the race to acclimate yourself to the terrain and altitude.
