The famous annual Riyadh Marathon takes place in Saudi Arabia’s capital city.
Both residents and visitors are drawn to the Riyadh Marathon event, which was held on February 10, 2024, and will also be held in 2025 but the date has not yet been set.

If you are new to running, a bib is a piece of paper with an electronic tag attached that is used to track a runner’s precise time during a marathon and is usually handed out a day or two before the race day.
- It is a must to bring the confirmation email about your registration, which includes a QR code.

Race Kit
The race kit is usually available two days before the official marathon in the Marathon Village and includes your race bib, which you must wear on race day, a bag, a t-shirt, and a gift.
Every runner who crosses the finish line on race day will get a medal.
Bear in mind that race kits cannot be distributed on the morning of the marathon.
Race Day
There are storage rooms available at the race village which you may store your luggage and personal items.
Your bib number will be attached to your luggage.
You will need to show your race number to the organizing officials at the counter to retrieve your items following the event.
There will also be refreshment areas every 2.5 km across all races and restrooms available throughout the race venue, in addition to the finish line.
