History of the marathon
Started on 2014 the Race is now 10 years old. with more than 53,000 runners participating in those years. With a record participation in one event of 10,617. Runners join from 90 nationalities.
Situated in the vibrant heart of Kuwait City, amid lively streets and iconic landmarks, the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon marks its 10th anniversary as Kuwait’s only internationally certified marathon.
