Every running club provides a certain combination of encouragement, inspiration, and a friendly vibe that goes beyond personal accomplishments. Whether you’re a professional athlete searching for new opportunities or someone new hoping to jumpstart your fitness journey, these running clubs offer a vibrant environment where you can socialize, grow, and go on thrilling journeys one run at a time.
Egypt:
- Cairo Runners: Cairo Runners organizes half-marathons and encourages activities that are environmentally sustainable. Every week, Cairo Runners has an average of 2,500 runners.
- Wadi Ibex: The first trail running group in Egypt goes by the name Wadi Ibex. Through team competitions, weekly runs, and cleanup campaigns, the group hopes to raise awareness of trail running both locally and globally.
- Zamalek Runners: A small running group that organize a weekly run around Zamalek every Friday.
- Night Runners: The Night Runners aim to raise awareness of running by planning sporting events and establishing the ideal training environment.
- We Run Egypt: Founded by Marwa Elsawi, which plans athletic events around Egypt as a whole. The group wants to entice runners to go with them as they explore Egypt in all of its glory.
United Arab Emirates:
- Desert Road Runners: Hopatec Sports Services is the license holder and operator of the Desert Road Runners running organization. Desert Road Runners was established in 1989, and they were once known as Dubai Road Runners. It is recognized as the oldest running club in Dubai with its yearly 10 km event, which has taken place since 1991.
- Jumeirah Johns Running Club: It is Dubai’s most social club, and they organize free runs weekly.
- 5:30 am Run Club: This group meets early in the morning, at precisely 5:30 am, and takes running very seriously. They are open to everyone and meet on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
- ABRaS: Run and licensed by Super Sports Dubai, their primary goal is to assist runners who take pleasure in working out hard. This club, which takes pride in its hospitality while offering wonderful social activities all year long, welcomes runners of all levels.
- Dubai Creek Striders: When the group was first founded in 1995, there were just four members. They have grown quickly to include nearly 1,500 committed runners by 2011. The Creek Striders Half Marathon is presently organized by this group, which takes runners through some of Dubai’s oldest districts.

- Interlebanon Lebanon: Inter is a dedicated Lebanese track & field club as well as a Triathlon one, that combines fun, competitiveness and professionalism
- Elite Running Club: A running and triathlon sports club.
- The FORTIS TIGRIS Running Club is a team of athletes that get together every morning at 5 or 6 a.m. to run long distances (5, 10, 12 km, etc.) and take part in nearly all long distance competitions (5, 10, 42,195 km), such as triathlons, duathlons, aquathlons, etc….
- Let’s Run Beirut: The running event “Let’s Run Beirut” is held in Beirut and offers many race categories, including 5K, 10K, and half marathon, enabling competitors to select the distance that best fits their needs.
- Run with Nike Running Club – NRC: Run with Nike Running Club – NRC. The world’s largest running club meets at the Nike Store in Beirut Souks.
Saudi Arabia:
- Riyadh Urban Runners: Their goal is to encourage people of all ages to engage in outdoor activities, such as as walking or running, by utilizing the available open areas and incorporating them into an active and healthy lifestyle.
- Jeddah Runners: This non-profit running group in Jeddah welcomes people of all skill levels, even those who can only walk. They feel that running unites us all to exercise, socialize, and share a common spirit, and they run for a healthy living.
- Race Arabia: Driven by a love of sports in general and endurance sports in particular, Race Arabia is a management organization for athletic events. They contend that participation in sports directly affects one’s quality of life. This conviction is what motivated them to create significant international athletic events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
