- Marathon: 8:30 AM
- Half Marathon: 9:45 AM
- Cut-off Times:
- Marathon: after 5:30 hours
- Half Marathon: after 3:00 hours

Race Day Support:

- Refreshment Points: Water and orange slices are provided every 5 km, with additional stations at the finish line.
- Sponges: Available every 5 km from the 7th kilometer.
- Timing: Regular timing updates along the course and at the finish line.
- Route Markings: Clear ground markings and signs to guide runners.
- Split Times: Provided at the 10th and 30th kilometers for the marathon, and at the 10th kilometer for the half marathon.
- Security: The Wilaya of Marrakech and the Red Crescent will provide security along the course.
- Finisher’s Medal: All classified runners will receive a commemorative medal.

The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) authorized the famous Marrakech Marathon, which challenges runners to complete 42 KM for the marathon and 21.1 KM for the half marathon.

General information about the Marrakech Marathon 2025
- The race usually takes place in the Avenue de la Menara (Hivernage) / Behind Sofitel Hotel.
- Until the destination, replenishment stops (orange sections and water) are placed every 5 kilometers along the route. Check out our tips for a successful marathon
- Days prior to the race, you can often pick up your bibs in the Marathon Village. An email confirmation is required to receive your bib number.

the Marathon is set on Sunday, January 26, 2025. If you are less than 3 months from the marathon date and still didn’t start your training or new to running, we recommened that you choose a more sutible race for your current physical abilities.

Always remember that you don’t need to change any of the current gear or trainings if you are confortable with.

The registration is open on the official website price varies according to if you are a local Moroccon, a foriegner who lives in Morocco, or Tourist. Also depending on the distnace you choose to run the price will change.
